WHO WE ARE

La Fundación para el Ciclismo del Estado Bolívar (FUNDACIBOL), located in Puerto Ordaz, Estado. Bolívar,  is a non profit organization with legal personality on its own and full capacity to develop any sport event throughout our national geography.

 

FUNDACIBOL it had been developed to project sports in a different way, that is why we have earned  credibility not only among our athletes but also among our colaborators and sponsors. Our intention is to create a remarkable experience for all athletes and their family members, making each of them enjoy our events as much as we do, offering athletes the best views, the best facilities, and the best organization that guarantees their requirements.

 

Reviews of their sports events

1.- Touristic cycling-tours:  events for the  participation of athletes and their family members, thorughout many kilometers of different places in Ciudad Guayana, as the following:

 

•       Cycling-tour Campamento la Zurdera

•       Cycling-tour  Piedra del Elefante

•       Cycling-tour El Retumbo

•       Cycling-tour Las Riberas del Caroní

•       Cycling-tour Los Caballos en Guri

•       Cycling-tour Ruta Hato Caigua  -  Sierra Caroní.

 

These tours have the purpose of promoting the practice of cycling in our estate, giving the athlete full support that includes in many times economic contributions,  integrating also the families that support their athletes or just the people watching our events that encourage tourism in our region.

 

2.- Discovering and creating new talents

Such as Sandro Muñoz, native of  La Gran Sabana, who has been training in FUNDACIBOL as Athlete since he was a teenager, turned out to be the champion in the XV edition of Reto a la Frontera de Ciclismo Todo Terreno (MTB), champion in the Vuelta Internacional a la Azulita, being today one of the best bike riders of our country.

 

3.-  Capturing of economic resources:

 Together with other organizations and sports clubs, we have developed activities to capture economic resources to assist different athletes and organizators such as:

 

  • Pedalea for Willie Sucre

  • Pedalea for Ivannia Díaz (Co-organizador)

  • Pedalea for Lori (Co-organizador)

  • Pedalea for Euclides (Co-organizador)

Mision           

FUNDACIBOL  was created to express its social responsability and its commitment with the development of sports culture and with the promotion of any physical activity in our society.

 

Vision

Based on the professionalism of the people we work with, to promote the practice of our sports, we want to be more than a foundation and be recognized as a model of an organization dedicated to the development of the socially substainable sport.

 

Objectives

  • Fundacibol is oriented to promote the development of the cycling disciplines, bike-tours, triatlons, marathons, and ultra-marathons, in children, teenagers, and adults.

  • Coordinate actions between communities, governmental entities, private and public companiesy in any kind of activity that  promotes the practice of those sports in our country.

  • With a view to achieving the development and consolidation of the sport activity in its different disciplines,  FUNDACIBOL provides support for the athlete for its development, strenghtening the participation and colaboration of federated entities and encouraging citizens in improving their quality of life though the practice of sport, recreational, and competitive activities, which contribute to preserve and improve physical and mental health of people.

  • To contribute in the needs of the region, doind fundraising activities through the bike-tours.

  • Fundacibol,  commited to the environment, starts conservational projects and recovers green areas.
